Join the NZ Federation of Commercial Fishermen Inc.

Everyone who is involved in the catching sector of the commercial fishing industry in New Zealand is encouraged to become a member of the Federation. The Federation is the only national stakeholder organisation representing fishermen that is not a trade union and that provides a one-stop-shop for small and medium fishing businesses, contract harvesters, owner/operators, skippers, and crew. It is only through unity and solidarity that fishermen can hope to protect the rights of continued access to their historic fishing grounds. The diverse and widespread nature of the catching sector of our industry means that contact with all active fishermen is often difficult. The Federation provides a conduit for communication and dissemination of information through its vastly improved new website and highly effective e-mail distribution system.
